I got several games for X-mas and that was a very nice diversion from GW. I was stuck in a boredom rut as well for a pretty long time, but I played some old games, got some new ones. Then I started paying GW more again, and I decided to get Asuran armor and work my brand new monk up to R3 survivior.
Like many others have suggested; take a break, try something different, and if you want to come back set a new goal for yourself. |

This is where an online FPS like Joint Operations or Counter Strike comes in handy
I just play GW till i'm bored, swap to FPS, then swap back when I get pissed that I'm at 6 kills 49 deaths in 1 game cause the noobs with their hax trainers won't play right or until there are no good maps, then back to GW! |

Confirmed, the weather is getting better and I am out of shape... too much GW.
I actually formatted my drives and install 64bit Linux... hehe. That cured my boredom. Now I am hacking around again trying to learn everything I have missed out on over the past two years. |

If you play PvE, try PvP, if you played PvP, try PvE :P
Or go play outside. Or LARPing. Or fishing. Or drawing. Or reading. Or writing a book. |

But apart form that to the OP, you have a whole world of options available to you in RL. Or if you want, you can pick up another game for a while. Try PFS for a change of pace, or a RTS. Maybe even a different RPG game (online or not). GW isnt keeping you tied by forcing you to pay monthly fees like some other well known rivals. |

If you're trying to force yourself to have fun, you're defeating the whole purpose of playing the game. Chances are, if you really love GW, you'll miss it after some time away. Then you'll come back to it refreshed. GL. |

At least WoW will give you something different to do...
Two options: Either you will love WoW and you will be busy with that for a while Or youll come running back to GW sobbing "IloveyouIloveyouIloveyou", and then youll be busy with that. Either way, your prob will be solved |

There are other games out there that are free to play. I have tried Rappelz and Last Chaos...didn't get into LC but Rappelz is fun even if the graphics are not anywhere near what GuildWars is. I really like my Yeti and Orc pets There are parts of the game that will really make you appreciate all that GuildWars has to offer but higher levels and tons of skills are not a bad trade off for a free game.
Oh and outside in the sunshine is pretty great too! |

I used to solo stuff as a warrior when I got bored of GvG and TA but now that's gone so I either form groups for FoW and stuff on irc or do other stuff.
